I have 25 years experience working with adults, children and young people in a variety of NHS settings.. As well as private practice I continue to work part-time for an NHS Psychological Therapies Service providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is considered to be one of the most effective forms of psychotherapy to come along in recent years. This reflects my own experience of helping people make significant changes through therapy and being able to lead happier and more fulfilled lives as a consequence.
What is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy?

CBT looks at your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and their impact on each other, how they keep your difficulties going and how they may be holding you back in life. The therapy relationship is a collaborative one that enables you to develop new understandings of your problems and develop new more helpful ways to move forward. This can be a life changing process that provides you with knowledge and skills and ultimately to become your own therapist.
